This massage concentrates on realigning deep layers of connective tissue and muscle. This is ideal for chronic tension and areas such as tight lower backs, tender shoulders and stiff necks that are contracted. Some of the movements are similar to those of more classic massages, though they are performed more slowly, with the deep pressure focused on particularly tense or painful areas.
